PC Interface board

PC interface board get data from the COM2 seral port (you must connect this board to the COM2 port) and work out them, before send the route to the robot.

Radio module is build on the interface board, connected to PC by serial port. Serial outpus level are different from TTL's: - low level (0) is +12 V;
- high level (1) is -12 V.

This signals must be changed. An inverter reverse logical levels. So after the inverter you can find: - +12 V for high level (1);
- 0 V for low level (0).

+12V level must be lowered to +5V TTL. This is do by a resistor with a 5.1V zener diode.

Data can now used as input by radio module. This is build in SMB technology, and modulate bits into AM OOK on a 433MHz carrier. Radio signal is spread by an aerial.

Receiver radio module put on the robot get data and decodes them, allowing ST6 to read the route.

Jack connector permit cable connection: so you can drive Stream without a radio module, too.
